FOR WHOM DOES THE BELL TOLL?

For those who care about more than the Zimmerman trial (which will now be the Zimmerman acquittal) or suntans or rain or video games, stay in your recliners. For the rest of you, let's discuss briefly, the future. Many scholars of prophecy point out that America does not seem to appear in the future times. Maybe the mass exit of hundreds of thousands of Christians will make the US irrelevant. Consider also that Barrack Obama and his cronies will have paved the way for the New World Order by making us so weak that the only way to feed ourselves and survive, will be to join the New World Economy and eventually the Global Government. Put the two together and it seems as though the time is short and the End Times are at hand.

If I did not believe this, I would still believe that America will come back after Obama and regain it's greatness. I would help as much as I could. God sets the times and the seasons, not man. We must prepare ourselves and our families and friends. NOW. Patriots need to put our efforts into the spiritual salvation of our fellow countrymen and women.

THE SECOND AMENDMENT

...the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Amendment II to The Constitution of The United States of America. Second of ten amendments ratified effective December 15, 1791. On September 25, 1789, Congress sent 12 "declaratory and restrictive clauses" to the state legislatures. 10 were ratified. Their purpose was to "prevent misconstruction or abuse of " the powers of the Constitution. The founders had suffered under tyranny. They knew "the dangers of good intentions". (Daniel Webster). They were "especially against all extensions of Executive power". (Daniel Webster).
Recently, a liberal TV personality named Bill called the 2nd amendment "bullsh*t". Then, his guest, Michael, compared gun registration to a driver's license. How illogical can these people be? There is no inalienable right to own and operate an automobile.

HOW THEN SHALL WE LIVE?

As I posted on Facebook, I now believe that America's best days are behind us, our economy will collapse, we will cease to be a superpower and we will cease to be a sovereign, individual nation. Some of these outcomes could happen this year.

The question is how long will God wait before He calls the Church home and the 7 years of Tribulation begin. Most scholars believe there are no more prophecies to be fulfilled before the Rapture of the Church will occur. The world has been wanting a New World Order with a central government, a central economy and a common currency in order to achieve "Peace on Earth." Barack Obama had been heralded as the President of the World just a few short years ago. The seeds of our nation's economic doom are already sprouting and breaking ground.

It's logical to propose that some form of emergency plan may be in place, whether in America, Europe or some other entity. When the Church and the Holy Spirit are removed from the Earth, worldwide panic will occur and people will clamor for a savior, a leader to bring order and peace. Thus we can surmise, it won't be very difficult to impose a New World Order. Especially since many have been seeking one since at least the early 20th century.

As Christians, we must ask ourselves the same question posed by Francis Schaefer, which is the title of this post; "How then shall we live?" We can't quit jobs or responsibilities but we must examine our priorities. This is the same dilemma faced by Christians since Paul's times, however, today's world is much riper for fulfillment of the prophecies. An urgency needs to be felt and practiced by us all.

I believe most of us will find it very difficult to believe that such changes will occur so soon and so quickly. Most people have been preoccupied with jobs, families, bills, illnesses and all the other challenges of everyday life. But many have not kept an eye or a ear open regarding the momentous changes happening in Washington, America or the world . There are many crying "Wake up." But, many can't hear due to the secular world (Satan in fact) broadcasting "All's well."

WHAT COMES NEXT?

..Cry havoc and loose the dogs of war.

I was going to comment on the sexual harassment epidemic in the military. Truth is, when Mr. Obama ended Don't Ask, Don't Tell, it opened a door of opportunity for gays. Male on male sexual assaults have since outnumbered reported assaults on women. And I doubt that many male victims have been forth coming about being assaulted. The term has been coined; "Barak's Barracks". If only the Joint Chiefs could say "We told you so."

However, I feel compelled to discuss the news of Mr. Obama's appointment of Susan Rice to National Security Advisor and his nomination of Samantha Powers for Ambassador to the UN. Both actions are troubling to say the least. Susan Rice is known to most of us only as the person the administration sent out that Sunday morning to spread their lies about Benghazi. And I'll wager that most of America has never even heard of Samantha Powers.

Many people will say (and some already have) that Susan Rice's appointment is Obama's way of thumbing his noise at those who have criticized his mishandling of the Benghazi tragedy. Her position does not require Congressional approval. Some have called it "a poke in the eye".  Obama wanted to make Ms. Rice the new Secretary of State but it was clear that the Senate would not support her nomination. So, we got John Kerry. Can't get elected to President? Just wait around. You might be handed Secretary of State.

• Our dishonest President. 
• ObamaCare.
• Civil War in Syria.
• Russia.
• The Muslim Brotherhood.
• The UN Small Arms Treaty.
• Fast and Furious.
• Gun control.
• An uninvolved, uninformed, unconcerned President.
• Valerie Jarrett - Advisor or puppeteer? 
• Trampling on the Constitution.
• Decline of the US Dollar as the reserve currency of the world.
• Drones.
• The national debt and our credit rating.
• Sequestration.
• Immigration.
• Common Core.
• The morass at the Veteran's Administration.
• Cronyism in the White House.

The list goes on and on. What would you add to the list? Which is the number one scandal? Which is the number one threat to our security? What more will we uncover as we investigate? How many more scandals/threats will be uncovered? Is Congress doing it's job in overseeing the "government? Is the government just too big to control anymore?

 

Who is responsible? Who knew what and when? Who is really in charge? Will justice be done? Will anyone be held responsible and made to pay a price? What is the moral status of our society? Why are so many uninformed and apathetic?

 

How will it all effect us over the next 3 years? The next decade? Will Mr. Obama maintain his credibility, his popularity, or his plausible deniability? Will he retain any political influence at all? Is his agenda dead in the water?

 

How will the people respond? How should we respond? Wasn't the Federal government designed to be the servant of The People? Will all this un-American activity cause us to rise up and change the direction we're being led in?

Is it too late to save our way of life? Can we get our country back? Have our lives, our liberty and our ability to pursue happiness been so damaged that we're in danger of not getting them back? Will the myriad warnings of the founders serve as guiding lights to our journey back or will they become stark reminders of what we let slip away; mocking our indifference, our avarice, our complacency and our failure to guard our precious freedoms and our sacred liberty?

I was very moved during one of the rehearsals when I realized how much it spoke to me and the struggles in my life, especially the last 6 or 7 years.

Some of the most amazing "religious" music I have ever sung or heard is from John Rutter.
I was stunned when I learned (the last I heard) he was an atheist! How can that be? I maintain, however, that only by knowing God can you truly experience the message God has used this music to convey. Amen?

PRAYING FOR OKLAHOMA AND SAMARITAN'S PURSE.

We're all praying for the people in Moore, Oklahoma today. I have a friend or two still waiting to hear if friends and family are safe. This is one of those times I wish I had a lot of money so I could send some financial aid at least. One organization I have supported is Samaritan's Purse.
Franklin Graham heads this group of responders and workers. God is using them all around the globe. They also help all around the US. I've been amazed at where, what and when they responded. They left this morning at 5Am from HQ in Western NC to help the Oklahoma victims. I wish I had $100,000 to help them.

EITHER OBAMA DOES NOT UNDERSTAND OUR FORM OF GOVERNMENT OR HE HATES IT

Barrack Hussein Obama has said he wants to change America. He wants to change the way our government works. He's blamed Republicans for gridlock. Recently, he blamed the Founding Fathers for his inability to get things done the way he wants. I was taught that the US Constitution spells out the form our republic is to take and how to keep it from becoming too powerful. Some founders were afraid that even having a "federal government" and a constitution were a threat to the new United States.
Senators and Representatives serve in Congress as our Representatives. We do not have a King. Furthermore, The Constitution sets up a definite separation of powers. There are numerous checks and balances. The reality of disagreement between groups and individuals (gridlock) is recognized. It's a fact of life. We don't want power to be given to those small groups or individuals who would wield it for their own benefit and not that of The People. Also, The Constitution and the Bill of Rights were meant to protect the people from tyrannical rule. They limit the power of the central government because the Founders understood human nature and they once lived under the oppression of the King of England. Their grievances are spelled out in the Declaration of Independence. They pledged to each other their Lives, their Fortunes and their sacred Honor. They risked death to secure freedom from absolute Despotism.
If Mr. Obama did not learn these basic, essential truths about our Constitution, how was he allowed to instruct college students? If he could not understand them, how did he even get into college in the first place?
I believe he learned and understood these foundations of our Republic. He just doesn't respect them. To the point that they limit his ability to "get things done", he hates them. History has seen a long list of Tyrants, Dictators, Despots, Kings, Emperors, Warlords, Fuehrers, Tsars and Usurpers. Another one is not very surprising and certainly is not unique. The regrettable truth about Barrack Obama is that he fooled enough people to get elected in 2008 and then he crammed his radical agenda down our throats for 4 years. The dangerous truth is that he fooled enough people a second time in 2012.
But the real travesty is the power he has usurped and the damage he and his cronies have inflicted upon our Lives, our Liberties and our very ability to pursue our Happiness.

Wow. I forgot I had this blog. Cancer, poverty, heart problems and sleeping on relatives' sofas can do that to ya I guess. My cancer is in remission since May 2010 (3 years!). My heart valve was replaced by a cow valve (Eat Mor Chiken) in Nov. 2012. I have an apartment now and I'm receiving disability, so things have improved greatly. Thank God. Many struggles remain but I am hoping, through God's grace, to deal with them in faith and to overcome.
I'm on Facebook, Twitter and SKYPE, but they have their limits and shortcomings. This blog will allow me to share my thoughts and knowledge even if no one ever visits.

The current assault on the Constitution, our rights and the rule of law has been going on for many decades. However, the current administration is leading a new and dangerous level of the assault.
